At Nobu in Newport Beach they've just launched a Cocktail Omakase menu but we think it's more like a chef's table experience with drinks as the focus. It's a heck of a lot sexier than a dinner date.

Foodies can take advantage of special menus and prices at 56 restaurants during Newport Beach Restaurant Week, which actually runs two weeks, starting Monday and continuing through Jan. 28.
