Outside of Jalen Brunson's 37 points, which came on 12-of-27 shooting, no other Knicks player was able to surpass 20 points scored. Evidently, New York needs more than 94 points scored, especially considering their identity on that end around Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, to win a playoff game.

The New York Knicks are off to a hot start in the postseason, taking a 1–0 lead over the Detroit Pistons on Saturday evening. Fueled by a massive 21–0 run in the fourth quarter, New York seized control and never looked back, setting the tone for how the rest of the series could unfold.
