The designer Conner Ives hoped to do some good with his “Protect the Dolls” T-shirt. Worn by celebrities, and sold out online, the shirts are raising money for a trans cause.

According to The New York Times, Ives has sold about $252,600 of the T-shirt since its release. He also invested in infrastructure to meet the online demand.

The shirt is used to express support for trans women, who are sometimes referred to as dolls. Fashion designer Conner Ives created the shirt and wore it at London Fashion Week in February.
