LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — We first told you about the new West Las Vegas Library back in December 2023. Earlier this year, construction began with a groundbreaking ceremony.

The new 42,000-square-foot center in West Bloomfield will feature a library, TV studio, community demonstration kitchen and will eventually house the Chaldean Museum.

The Ralph Ellison Library, 2000 NE 23, opened in 1975 and is named after one of Oklahoma City's most acclaimed authors, best known for his 1953 National Book Award winner Invisible Man.
