Sonic co-creator Yuji Naka has been sentenced to prison for insider trading. Naka pleaded guilty in March and has now been sentenced to serve two and a half years in jail.
They want to hit Naka with a 2.5 year sentence and a ¥2.5 million fine (around $18,000/£14,000), as well as a "supplementary penalty" of ¥170 million (around $1.2 million/£975,000).
