The Main Campus, located in the heart of Nairobi, serves as the university’s central hub. It is home to the College of Architecture and Engineering and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The University of Nairobi has three intakes in an academic year. The central intake is September/October for all courses December/January for courses like Bachelor of Education (Arts) and others.
