A former Texas megachurch founding pastor and onetime Trump spiritual adviser was indicted Wednesday on five child sexual abuse charges dating back to the 1980s.

Robert Morris, the former senior pastor of the Dallas-based Gateway Church, abused a girl over several years in the 1980s, the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office said.

Robert Morris resigned as senior pastor of Gateway Church in June after admitting to "inappropriate sexual behavior" in the 1980s.

Robert Morris, 63, faces five counts of lewd acts to a child and could face up to 20 years in prison.
