Police say a plumbing truck crashed into a brick wall in Country Club, sending one person to the hospital. The FDNY received a call reporting the crash around 10:30 a.m.

A small business owner whose truck was stolen and destroyed told ABC13 that the loss is tough for his plumbing company and family to experience during Thanksgiving week.

In January 2024, an alleged drunk driver ran a red light and crashed his car into a First Supply delivery truck while it was stopped at the light. The driver’s passenger was killed in the crash.

The tow truck driver had to be extracted from the vehicle. Police say he died at the hospital. The victim has not been identified. SR-2 was closed in the area until almost 10 p.m.
