I spent a couple of hours with the Hisense 116UX TV, which has an RGB mini-LED backlight and a super-fast 165Hz panel. Also, it's big.

I learned two things during setup. One: that’s no longer my living room, it now belongs to the TV. Two: Plan on moving your couch about six feet back (at least). There's a few problems at play here.

YouTube viewers now watch more hours of video on TV screens rather than their phones. What prompted that shift? When YouTube started 20 years ago, everyone said that it was going to take over TV.
