Patrons at the world's most visited museum will be able to separately access its most famous work of art, Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, following a six-year renovation announced by French President Emmanuelle Macron.

The most visited museum in the world is also the most overcrowded, and then there are problems in the roof and outdated facilities.

The leaked memo said the Louvre suffered from “proliferation of damage in museum spaces, some of which are in very poor condition.”
