Miguel Cotto became the first Puerto Rican fighter to win world championships in four weight divisions, stopping Sergio Martinez in their WBC world middleweight title fight Saturday night.

Cotto (39-4, 32KOs) announced through his verified Twitter feed on Wednesday afternoon of his decision to sit out for the remainder of 2014, setting his sights on a triumphant return in early 2015.
