The travel presenter tells MailOnline he had this 'fantastic revelation' after travelling the length and breadth of the country for his new Channel 5 show, Portugal with Michael Portillo.

Michael initially lived in the UK but has recently purchased a house in Spain. The property, located in Carmona, southern Spain, lies about 20 minutes from Seville.
