Just before 10:45 a.m., City of Miami Police responded to a call at the Brickell Avenue Bridge regarding a woman who was reportedly injured when the bridge began to open as she crossed it.

Days after a woman fell nearly 100 feet from the Brickell Avenue Bridge, newly released information from Miami Police outlines the timeline of her fall and the moments leading up to it.

Miami-Dade Police Director Juan Perez announced the search and rescue phase is over. Crews are now trying to recover bodies. “We expect to find other individuals down there,” Perez said.
