Three years after the COVID-19 pandemic, Miami International Airport broke its annual passenger record. Last year, the airport handled 52.3 million passengers, a 3.2 increase over 2022.
Both the airport’s arrivals and departures levels between doors 1-3 and TSA checkpoint 1 at Terminal D closed at 8:45 a.m., said Greg Chin, a spokesperson for the Miami International Airport.
