One person who lives in Metcalfe Park, Latisha “Bully” White, said she is excited. She said she grew up in the area and is glad to see change. “It’s a blessing,” she said.

Metcalfe Park Community Bridges started this work during the pandemic, when large households in the neighborhood suffered from a lack of space, poor living conditions and frustrations with landlords.
