Albany School Board members on Monday thanked parents and teachers for their support of a middle school principal, but said transfer decisions are up to the superintendent.

Updated: May 14, 2025 / 10:31 PM EDT ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A 13-year-old girl is facing charges after police said she made threats of violence against Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School.

Albany picked up the program in 1996 and sent teen leaders to all three of its middle schools until two years ago. Last year, only Memorial Middle School chose to participate.
