Sugarlands Distilling Company, which makes Silver Cloud moonshine and other flavors, will celebrate the grand opening of a 10,000-square-foot visitor's center in Gatlinburg.

Midnight Moon Original is 80 proof, triple distilled and made from American corn. Midnight Moon Apple Pie is bottled at 70 proof, and all other Midnight Moon flavors are bottled at 100 proof.

The bar opened in February and offers over 35 different types of moonshine from companies including Ole Smoky Moonshine and Midnight Moon Moonshine. Flavors include Pina Colada and Blueberry Muffin.

Legal moonshine is a hot-ticket item in the Southern states these days, with Asheville’s newest distillery, Howling Moon, opening just north of town.
