Maureen McDermott, who worked at URI for more than forty years, died nearly 10 days after being struck by a vehicle on the URI campus.

Maureen McDermott, a URI student advisor, will be laid to rest on Friday. She died a week ago, after being hit by a car on campus. McDermott worked at URI for more than 40 years.
