Stock markets will be closed on Good Friday, just ahead of Easter Sunday. Easter falls late this year, on April 20. The religious holiday doesn't fall on the same date each year. That's because the date is based on the lunar calendar.

Markets are closed on the holiday itself, but the days leading up to it, especially Thursday, are often positive.
