The family of Matt Pinfield, the radio host and former MTV VJ who suffered a massive stroke that left him hospitalized in January — is involved in a legal battle over his conservatorship.

Matt started out on MTV in 1992 after appearing on an episode of The Real World. In 1995, he was brought on to host MTV’s 120 Minutes, a show about artists of the alternative music genre.
