Nintendo has announced the details of the dates and pricing for the new Nintendo Switch 2 gaming system. Pre-orders in the United States will begin April 24 with the same previously announced launch price of $449.

Nintendo announced Friday that pre-orders for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 console will begin on April 24. It was also revealed that the initially announced console price of $449.99 will remain the same, as will the price of the Switch 2 and Mario Kart World bundle at $499.99.

Nintendo has opted to keep the price of the Nintendo Switch 2 the same as it was when announced, $449.99 for the console by itself and $499.99 with a bundled digital copy of Mario Kart World. Pricing for physical and digital games published by Nintendo will also remain the same — $80 for Mario Kart World and $70 for Donkey Kong Bananza.
