KINGSTON, N.Y. (AP) - The city of Kingston has issued a three-day ban on street parking while it grapples with all of the snow. Mayor Shayne Gallo issued the 72-hour ban starting at 9 a.m. Thursday.

“We have to get people in off the streets,” Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo said. But the order faced resistance, including from New York City officials, who threatened not to comply.
