Prior to Costa Mesa, Le served in the city of Orange Planning Department for 16 years, after working for Ventura County and as a private consultant.

The Council Tuesday voted 4-2-1 to terminate Lori Ann Farrell Harrison, who came to the city in 2019. Opponents of the move issued warnings about Costa Mesa's future while backers remained silent.
