Updated: Apr 10, 2025 / 09:15 PM EDT LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — One Louisa County teacher ran dozens of miles on Thursday to raise scholarship money for high school seniors.

Louisa County Public Schools made a Facebook post on Sunday, Feb. 26, which named the deceased victim as Louisa County High School student Chase Luck.

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. -- Solar energy could power 40 percent of the nation's electricity and provide as many as 1.5 million jobs in the next 10 years, according to the Department of Energy.

High school students were shipped to Louisa County Middle School for much of the 2011-12 school year. High school students were later shifted to trailers rented by the school division.

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. -- A prayer vigil was held at Louisa County High School (LCHS) Sunday in the wake of a fiery crash that left one teen dead and four others seriously injured Friday night.

In her nine years of running the Lion Pride Run, Fletcher has raised over $100,000 in scholarship money for Louisa County High School seniors. The tradition began in 2016.
