Authorities arrested two people accused of cashing checks with stolen identification across Virginia and Maryland.

Two alleged members of the “Felony Lane Gang,” which deputies in Loudoun County said is responsible for thefts up and down the East Coast, have been arrested.

The sheriff, however, said it’s designed to keep the community safe. The agreement does not mean Loudoun County deputies will be joining ICE in making arrests on the streets.
