The Arkansas River runs deep and wide at Little Rock. The city’s high-rises reflect on water brown with sediment carried all the way from the Colorado Rockies.

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Little Rock Parks and Recreation shared on their Facebook on Monday the newest installation of the Murray Park. The skating banana was installed along the Arkansas River Trail.

The 13-mile bicycle and pedestrian trail spur linking the Arkansas River Trail in downtown Little Rock with David D. Terry Lock and Dam was dedicated almost six years ago.

Eventually through two more phases of construction, the Southeast Trail is expected to connect to the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, the Little Rock Port and t he David D. Terry Dam site.
