Limor Har-Melech later married her current husband, Yehuda Son, with whom she had eight children. She entered the Knesset for the Otzma Yehudit Party following the 2022 election.

In 2003, Son Har-Melech and her husband were attacked by Arab terrorists. Her husband was killed in the attack, and she was seriously injured and gave birth by emergency caesarean section.
