A year ago this month, then 8-year-old Landyn Davis returned home from the hospital after being shot by a stray bullet — while in the hospital, his main wish was to visit LEGOLAND with his family.

LEGOLAND is launching a new festival in May celebrating play, creativity, and imagination. The festival will feature five interactive zones, 49 new LEGO models, and a "Play Pact" initiative.

Theme park operator Merlin Entertainments recently announced visitors will be able to ride new, "first-of-its-kind" indoor roller coasters at its Legoland Florida and Legoland California resorts.
