Leeds railway station was closed on Saturday afternoon because of a fault with the signalling system. Network Rail said the problem happened at about 16:00 BST and was fixed by about 17:00 BST.

Relics from Leeds’s first railway station have been unearthed. The remains of the former Marsh Lane station, which opened 190 years ago, have been revealed during excavation work in the city centre.
