The Friends of Ledges State Park in Boone County will celebrate its 100th anniversary Saturday. Park manager Andy Bartlett says it’s a favorite place for one particular form of outdoor recreation.

Several roads are closed at Ledges State Park in Boone County due to flooding from the Des Moines River. But the park wants people to know --- they're still open for the Fourth of July.
