A new series about Reeves, produced by Taylor Sheridan and David Oyelowo starts streaming Nov. 5 Paramount Plus a month from tonight, and it has a lot Bass Reeves fans excited.

The Paramount+ original series “Lawmen: Bass Reeves” will air its premiere episode on CBS this Sunday, Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.

The previous title, 1883: The Bass Reeves Story may have been confusing to some. While the series is not a spinoff of 1883, the series will take place in the same era.
