CEDAR LAKE, Ind. (WSBT) — Monday night's storms killed a woman in northwest Indiana. 44-year-old Laura Nagel died when a tree fell onto her home in Cedar Lake, near Crown Point.

The Lake County Coroner’s Office says Laura Nagel, 44, died after a tree fell on the master bedroom of her home in the northwest Indiana town of Cedar Lake on Monday night.

Laura Nagel, 44, was killed in Cedar Lake, Indiana after a tree fell on a home during the storm the Lake County Coroner's office said. An autopsy was pending, the coroner's office said.
