RIGA, Latvia - A cruise ship with 984 people on board ran aground early Sunday in the Baltic Sea, off the northwest coast of Latvia, the coast guard said.

Lake Erie Island Cruises’ Goodtime 1 was transported Friday after the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) was called out for the grounded cruise ship Thursday.
