According to Guinness World Records, the largest chocolate bar, weighing 12,770 pounds and 4.48 ounces, was created Oct. 7, 2011, by Thorntons in Alfreton, Derbyshire.

Heath bars are manufactured by the Hershey Company. It was first invented by a pair of brothers Bayard and Everett (last name of Heath, if you can believe), who debuted their candy bar in 1928.
