The public is invited to slither into a wild world of discovery at “Snakes, Turtles & More: A Herp’s Eye View,” happening noon to 4 p.m. June 29 at Penitentiary Glen Reservation in Kirtland.
A conservation program has now released a total of 209 Eastern indigo snakes from a captive breeding program in Eustis as part of efforts to revitalize the population of the rare species.
