Lake County officials have reached a purchase agreement for land needed to repair Britt Road, a crucial thoroughfare that has remained closed since Hurricane Milton struck in October 2024.

Lake County On the Florida Turnpike, southbound lanes are closed between mile markers 280 and 289. The westbound lane of State Road 46 coming into the city of Mount Dora is closed.
