The influx of Midwesterners in Idaho can be attributed to Lake Cascade's reputation of boasting extremely large perch. Perch much larger than those found in the Midwest region.

BEAR LAKE, Idaho (KIFI) - A recent acquisition will bring 1,200 feet of new shoreline into Bear Lake State Park and will provide public access to the west side of heavily used Bear Lake.

The moose was recorded July 4 at Bear Lake’s North Beach. A young bull moose was caught on camera in Idaho enjoying “a leisurely stroll” in a turquoise-colored lake, wildlife officials said.
