Alaska State Troopers said 62-year-old Marites Buenafe had texted her family that she was going for a hike in Juneau, but didn't return to the ship.

At around 3:15, Buenafe was reported missing. Alaska Wildlife Troopers were alerted to her disappearance shortly afterward, according to a news release from the Alaska Department of Public Safety.
