While she wasn’t in the headlines all that often, Collins had the distinction of playing on three 20-win teams her senior year. East was 21-10 in volleyball, 21-7 in basketball and 23-4 in softball.

The Tomball volleyball team remained unbeaten Sept. 21 with a convincing victory at Klein Collins, 25-19, 25-20, 25-19. The Lady Cougars improved to 4-0 in District 13-5A, keeping pace with Klein Oak.
