Arsenal forward Kai Havertz has admitted it's been a tough few days "mentally and physically" but he is now on the road to recovery after undergoing successful surgery on his torn hamstring.

They have been plagued by injuries in recent weeks, particularly in forward areas, with Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz out for the season while Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have also been absent.

Kai Havertz will miss the remainder of the Premier League season with a hamstring injury. It leaves Arsenal with no recognized center-forwards as it looks to compete with Liverpool for the title.
