Graduation ceremonies for Long Beach Unified School District seniors are officially underway, with both Jordan and Millikan high schools sending off their classes of 2025 this week.

A Long Island high school is under lockdown after an apparent threat from a 15-year-old student who claimed to be armed with an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle, law enforcement sources said.
