KENT, Wash. — Closing arguments in the trial of Auburn police officer Jeff Nelson, who is charged with murder,began Thursday morning, and the jury is expected to start deliberating Friday.

AUBURN, Wash. — On Thursday, Officer Jeff Nelson became the first officer in Washington state convicted by a jury for murder for on-duty actions under the state's police accountability law.
