Pittsburgh Pirates president Travis Williams released a statement Sunday apologizing to Roberto Clemente's family and fans for an incident involving the removal of a memorial to Clemente from PNC Park.

Jack Jones has reportedly been released by the Las Vegas Raiders after attempts to trade the cornerback, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal first reported the Raiders were currently working to trade the veteran. Bonsignore noted Jones will be released on Monday if no trade materializes.

The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to release cornerback Jack Jones, a person with knowledge of the situation told The Asscociated Press on Sunday. The 27-year-old Jones had an up-and-down stint with the Raiders after the club claimed him off waivers when the New England Patriots released him two years ago.
