Best Indoor Water Parks in New England - Massachusetts 1. Great Wolf Lodge – Fitchburg, MA Great Wolf Lodge New England is the newest and splashiest arrival on the regional water park scene.

The park recently ranked second in USA TODAY's 10BEST Reader's Choice Awards for top indoor water parks. Splash Lagoon has received over $25 million in investments over its 24 years of operation.

The $200 million attraction will feature 532 rooms, a 92,000-square-foot indoor water park, and a 61,000-square-foot family entertainment complex. The water park is set to open on Aug. 29.

Unlimited use of the water park is included with stays at Great Wolf. Although the company owned property in Orlando, it chose a Collier County location near Interstate 75 for its Florida debut.

While Florida was home to three top-ranked outdoor water parks, Great Wolf Lodge ranked No. 8 on a list of best indoor water parks. The company has several U.S. locations, including in Naples.
