American said it will fly Dallas-Reykjavic with a Boeing 757 single-aisle aircraft that features lie-flat business-class seats. Neither Wow nor Icelandair offer a lie-flat product.

However, the airlines will continue to operate as separate brands. Icelandair operates a fleet of Boeing 737, 757, and 767 aircrafts, while Wow Air flies only Airbus A320 family and A330 family jets.
