Owowcow Creamery opened 16 years ago in Ottsville. It was launched by John Fezzuoglio, a New York graphic artist who took Penn State’s ice cream course and decided to start churning.

According to the ice cream shop's website, Kellerhaus dates all the way back to 1906, when Otto G. Keller of Merrimack answered an employment ad for Phillips' Candy Store in Laconia.
