MTS is making changes to its workforce as they have entered into a new agreement with Inter-Con Security. The company is responsible for training and hiring officers for MTS.

Some 190 Inter-Con guards, who are allowed to be armed with prior certification, are working with about 80 unarmed code enforcement officers, who have the authority to arrest riders and write tickets.
