All lanes are reopened on I-20 Westbound before Highway 142 following a major crash in Newton County. Multiple emergency response vehicles were blocking all lanes Wednesday morning after Highway 11.

An Atlanta police officer and others were hurt in a crash on I-20 west. The officer is hospitalized but expected to be okay as the investigation continues.
