A “human skin teddy bear” found at a gas station in Victorville, California, is a latex prop and does not contain human tissue, the artist who created it and the local law enforcement have said.

"Callers indicated a teddy bear made of what looked like human flesh was left in front of the business," the department said in a written statement. An investigation was immediately launched.
