The WokMon turns an average gas range into a stir-frying machine. Instead of a spread out flame, the device concentrates all the heat underneath the wok.

The fix: Cut the gas and power to the stove, remove the burner cap and use a screwdriver or hex driver to disconnect the burner base. Then disconnect the wires coming from the igniter.

The 'Super Flame' aluminium built-in hob, designed by the Hong Kong and China Gas (Towngas), won the company a top prize in the consumer product design category at the Hong Kong Awards for Industries.
